This year again, our team of experts from the Pharma business unit is once again participating in two of the most important trade fairs in the pharmaceutical industry: "CPhI" in Barcelona and "AAPS PharmSci 360" in Orlando. We use these stages to present ourselves in terms of sustainability, innovation and quality. Take the opportunity, make an appointment and meet our concentrated expertise on site.
The pharmaceutical specialties of the Pharma business unit set standards for quality and are already used in more than 90 countries worldwide. Our distribution partners around the globe play a vital role in also maintaining these high standards in service and consultation. Our team is therefore always glad to have a personal exchange and to represent IOI Oleo GmbH at various trade fairs.
Full of anticipation, the teams from our business units "Nutrition" and "Basic Oleo" traveled to Food Ingredients Europe 2022 in Paris and presented IOI Oleo GmbH to more than 21,000 visitors from over 135 countries. For us, participating in this leading trade fair for the food industry with our own stand was the first time, and we were therefore very excited to hear the feedback from the visitors.
In November, the CPHI 2022 in Frankfurt, the leading trade fair for the pharmaceutical industry, finally ended our long absence from trade fairs. We were all very excited to finally see our customers, business partners and friends again, resume personal discussions and make new contacts. One topic was especially important to us: Sustainability. And we were particularly proud of an innovation with a great deal of potential.
A trend that we are seeing in the market in the USA is the improvement of patient compliance. "Take 1 tablet instead of having to think about regularly taking 3 tablets a day." A trend that we are seeing in the USA addresses just this topic. The goal is to ensure the release of the active ingredients over a longer period after administration. This enables longer intervals between doses and, as a result, improved quality of personal life and an increased chance of successful treatment.
The COSMET’AGORA is the French local trade show organized by the French Society of Cosmetology (SFC, Société Française de Cosmétologie). The show aims to present raw materials, new technologies, formulations and test methods, all related to the cosmetic industry, with a special focus on sensoriality and textures.
CPhI Worldwide 2019 was back to Frankfurt, and we took this opportunity to invite our partners prior to the show to the distribution day at our production site in Witten, including a plant tour and laboratory session.
The in-cosmetics Global was held at the “Porte de Versailles” in Paris from 2nd to 4th of April 2019 with around 800 international exhibitors and 10.000 visitors from around the world. IOI Oleo GmbH’s Personal Care team presented twelve new formulations, developed by the CARE Studio, and one new raw material.
