The organisation’s primary objective is a continuous increase in corporate value coupled with comprehensive customer satisfaction.

Establishing and maintaining an Integrated Management System (IMS) is of central importance in order to achieve this objective. We understand the term “integrated” to mean that the areas of quality, occupational health and safety, sustainability and energy management receive equal attention and are regarded as inseparably linked with each other. This holistic approach ensures the ongoing improvement of our processes involving the most efficient possible use of our resources.

The company-wide regulations concerning the topics of ethics, corruption, competition and cartel law are firmly embedded in the structures and described. Our codes help us to also make these important topics transparent for our interested parties.

With the formulation of corporate policies, the top management already emphasises the alignment of the management system towards customer orientation. Our corporate policy puts customer satisfaction at the heart of our activities. Through targeted analyses of the market and its environment, we ensure that the quality of our products and the fulfilment of customer requirements always receive the highest priority. We regard it as our central task to not only meet our customers’ expectations but to exceed them. The continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and product quality is therefore a key objective of our organisation.

The implemented standards at our sites are subject to continuous external monitoring. The active ingredients and excipients produced at our Witten site are cGMP-certified and FDA-approved.

In addition, the Witten site has already had ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certification for many years now. A well-developed HACCP concept (audited externally) guarantees product safety for our customers.

An EMAS certification, successfully implemented many years ago, helps us in also continuously improving our processes in the areas of energy and environment and is a significant contribution to our Sustainability Management System.
