IOI Oleo GmbH – Globally Active for You

The pharmaceutical specialties of the Pharma business unit set standards for quality and are already used in more than 90 countries worldwide. Our distribution partners around the globe play a vital role in also maintaining these high standards in service and consultation. Our team is therefore always glad to have a personal exchange and to represent IOI Oleo GmbH at various trade fairs.

Our distribution partner Azelis (formerly Orkila) invited us to join them at their booth during Maghreb Pharma Expo in Algiers, which took place from February 7-9, 2023.Sabrina Chelli, Sales Manager Pharma Europe & MENA, and René Beyer, Head of Sales EMEA, LATAM & Strategic Accounts, followed this invitation and took the opportunity for mutual discussion with customers, consultants and new contacts from Algeria and other markets in Northern Africa.

We had 3 phantastic days on site with all in all more than 20 fruitful meetings during Maghreb Pharma so that we were able to learn more about the market, the customers, but also the challenges and opportunities in the region. We would like to say many thanks to the team of Azelis Algeria for organizing everything and hosting us during this trip.

But 2023 is still young and there is more to come in terms of exhibitions and events:

Jim Kuznik will be at the Excipient World in Washington D.C. in May 2023; the next one will be the CPHI China in June for Chloe Cheng, Sales Manager East Asia and KarWee Kam, Sales Manager South APAC. In October, in parallel, we will be at the AAPS in Florida (Jim Kuznik) and CPHI Europe in Barcelona with our entire team. And to close this year, KarWee Kam will be at the CPHI India in November.

René Beyer

René Beyer has been a member of our Pharma team since 2014. As Head of Strategic Sales, his responsibilities include looking after our major industrial customers. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, René has gained extensive expertise in the areas of Sales, Purchasing and Business Development in different companies. With this background, he is a competent contact partner for all commercial, quality and regulatory questions. For him service is not just a word, but lived practice.
