It’s always exciting when real innovations enter the stage – but this is especially true in the beauty world, which is particularly keen to innovate, inspired by the ever-increasing demands of consumers.
Today we have the pleasure of presenting one such innovation to you: SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S, winner of the “Best Ingredient Silver Award” at the Innovation Zone at in-cosmetics Asia. This innovative product not only stands for creative application possibilities, but also promises to significantly reduce the depth of wrinkles within just 30 minutes. Let’s dive into the world of our SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S.
In our article “SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S – Be the creator!” we reported for the first time on the possibilities for the DIY market. SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S is the first ingredient that both consumers at home and formulators in the lab can use to create an emulsion simply by adding water, but can also be mixed with any other raw material. Since its launch in April 2023, the initial enthusiasm has not faded – on the contrary, we are only at the beginning of an inspiring journey.
Proven by an independent institute: Wrinkle reduction in just 30 minutes
We commissioned an independent institute to scientifically evaluate the “instant anti-wrinkle effect” of SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S. For this purpose, a formulation containing 20% SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S, 0.8% preservatives and water was applied to wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet).
The wrinkle depth was measured before and 30 minutes after application using “non-contact in-vivo” skin measurement (GFMesstechnik GmbH, Primus 3D). The result is clear: after just 30 minutes, the depth of wrinkles is reduced by over 14%. The synergy of the two ingredients Tricaprylin and Acacia Senegal Gum plays a decisive role here. When mixed with water and applied to the wrinkle areas, the formulation creates a soft film, which is responsible for the instant tightening effect.

The ability to immediately reduce visible signs of skin ageing makes SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S a valuable addition to any anti-ageing concept − whether as a raw material in the appropriate formulation or as an add-on booster that is mixed into the day cream before the busy day ahead.
Simple, natural and effective
In addition to its effectiveness in reducing wrinkles, there are the minimalism and naturalness of SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S. And not only in the DIY sector …
The raw material enables consumers and professional formulators to create effective and individual care products in just a few simple steps without the need for special equipment or complicated processes. As little as 2% – 10% SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S creates a soft film on the skin (film-forming).
A versatile game changer
You can experience the versatility of our SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S with one of our formulations, the “Magic Scrub Balm”, for example. The balm is prepared without water and acts like a scrub when applied before showering. Afterwards, in the shower, it transforms into a gentle lotion before dissolving completely in the water. This means that SOFTISAN® MagicPOWDER S does not release any harmful microplastics or nanoparticles into your formulation or down the drain.
