MIGLYOL® T-C7: The Polyvalent Smooth Glider

As the days get longer and the first rays of sunshine lure us outside, we want to enjoy the beautiful spring mood … and not worry about sun protection or dry skin. MIGLYOL® T-C7 is the perfect emollient for these requirements and much more.

Thanks to its high polarity, the natural ester emollient offers excellent wetting and dissolving properties for pigments and crystalline UV filters. MIGLYOL® T-C7 – plant-based efficiency, sustainable technologies with a lubricating touch

We want to express feelings in formulations and have developed our Signature Touch methodology together with experts (read more about this in our article “Design your Signature Touch in Three Easy Steps!“). This approach uses the following six objective parameters: “Diffusion”, “Gliding Effect”, “Penetration”, “Film-Forming”, “Oiliness” and “Stickiness”. Each emollient was tested independently. The objective parameters can subsequently be combined into the familiar subjective descriptions such as “Light” or “Lubricating”. For example, the gliding “lubricating” effect is described by the high gliding effect, medium penetration and medium oiliness.

MIGLYOL® T-C7: Properties tested and confirmed by an external laboratory!

Method used:
We commissioned a certified external laboratory to conduct in-vivo studies to measure skin hydration using a corneometer (Courage + Khazaka). An assessment by a dermatologist and a final panel survey round off the results. A minimalist base formulation containing 20% MIGLYOL® T-C7 was tested over a period of two hours.

The laboratory came to the following conclusion:
MIGLYOL® T-C7 provides a moisturizing effect with fast hydration, a light feel and quick absorption into the skin.

Emotional result of the panel study:
Can the measured results also be felt – by experts and, more importantly, by consumers?

Yes! The panel is delighted:
