We are looking for you to join our production site in Wittenberge as part of a succession plan, to start as soon as possible, in the role of

You want to…

• take overall responsibility for the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the site.
• provide technical and managerial leadership for the Production and Engineering departments and ensure the smooth running of site operations.
• assume responsibility for the budgets and costs of the Production and Engineering departments.
• ensure compliance with all relevant occupational health and safety, environmental and quality standards (e.g. ISO, FSSC, HACCP, BImSchG).
• initiate and consistently implement process optimisations and measures to enhance efficiency, quality and sustainability.
• actively shape the strategic development of the site and drive operational excellence.
• Initiate, coordinate and successfully implement operational projects.
• Act as the central point of contact for authorities and service providers.
• Take on leadership responsibilities, develop staff and foster a performance- and safety-oriented culture.

We are looking for…

• a successfully completed degree in chemistry, process engineering or a comparable qualification.
• several years’ management experience in an operational role, ideally in the oleochemical or chemical industry.
• in-depth knowledge of production management, lean management, continuous improvement and, ideally, supply chain processes.
• an entrepreneurial leader with a strong hands-on approach and an appreciative management style that treats colleagues as equals.
• strong communication skills in German and English.
• a drive to shape the future, decisiveness and the ambition to develop the site sustainably together with the teams.
