HR Generalist – Focus on HR Administration (m/f/d)

You want to…

  • Provide attentive and supportive guidance to our employees through all phases of their employment—from hire to departure.
  • Draft employment contracts, contract amendments, and employment references.
  • Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions in a competent, friendly, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Maintain personnel files, assist with the preparation of monthly payroll, and ensure that all payroll-related data is complete.
  • Maintain work time accounts, process company pension plan matters, and prepare HR analyses and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the works council in a spirit of trust.
  • Take responsibility for the recruitment process: from drafting job postings and participating in interviews to selecting our future colleagues.
  • In short: support people, shape processes, and coordinate administrative tasks, thereby laying the foundation for modern and successful human resources work.

We are looking for…

  • a successfully completed vocational training program in business administration, ideally with a focus on human resources.
  • several years of professional experience in HR administration and payroll preparation, ideally at a manufacturing company.
  • solid knowledge of social security, labor, and tax law.
  • Experience applying collective bargaining agreements, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Proficiency in using standard MS Office applications.
  • An independent and structured approach to work.
  • Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
  • Discretion and a strong sense of responsibility when handling confidential personnel data.
  • An open, approachable personality with a keen understanding of different people, their situations, and needs.
