To strengthen our Research & Product Development department, we are looking for you—initially on a fixed-term contract for 2 years—to start as soon as possible at our Witten production site as a
Formulation Specialist (m/f/d) for the Product Development Division
You want to…
- take responsibility for the further development of existing products and new product development (with a focus on the Pharma, Care, and Nutrition sectors).
- be responsible for the (re)formulation of our existing and new product developments, working closely with the Business Development, Sales & Marketing departments, as well as the product managers in the Business Pharma, Care & Nutrition business units.
- present and advocate for your formulation results both internally and externally (e.g., at conferences, trade shows, and during customer visits).
- collaborate on interdisciplinary as well as national and international R&D projects and take responsibility for individual projects.
We are looking for…
- a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, medicine (or a comparable field).
- at least 2 years of professional experience—ideally in the pharmaceutical and/or cosmetics industry.
- extensive experience working in chemical laboratories, particularly in formulation development.
- a structured, reliable, and independent work style within an interdisciplinary, cross-location team.
- proficiency with MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
- confidence in speaking and writing in German and English.
- willingness to travel frequently (15–25%).
