Startoff for the Pharma Team

The most important trade fair for IOI Oleo GmbH, CPhI Worldwide, takes place in autumn every year. Unfortunately, everything is different in 2020. Understandably, the event was cancelled due to the current framework conditions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. As a rule, we meet our business partners, distribution partners and numerous associates at our booth at the fair. Regrettably, this personal contact can currently not take place as usual and we really miss it.
However, we have accepted the new challenge and established a suitable alternative. Virtual meetings instead of in-person ones, fist bumps instead of handshakes – all in the interest of your and our health. Online presence is, of course, gaining significantly in importance because of the many cancelled trade fairs, visits and business trips, but nothing can replace face-to-face contact.
A lot is happening at IOI Oleo GmbH right now; we are working with combined efforts on our web presence, the monthly newsletters and our new brochures. We would have really liked to present our new Corporate Design live.
Our newly designed Product List provides an overview at a glance of all of our products in the Pharma portfolio. Moreover, we are especially proud of our new Excipients Brochure with the unique key visual, which all the team colleagues are thrilled about. Now sorted according to brand names with the most important parameters and characteristics of our lipid-based excipients and active ingredients listed. This makes the brochure noticeably more compact and yet, at the same time, rich in detailed product information.
In addition to our new appearance, we are also growing in terms of personnel.
We are pleased to announce that Svenja Emmerich has joined the Pharma Team as from October 2020. She was previously responsible for Latin America within the Personal Care unit at IOI Oleo GmbH; in her new function as Sales Manager Latin America she will take care of our Pharma customers and distributors in this region.
We look forward to meeting you again − hopefully soon – and are preparing for further leaps and bounds! In the meantime, we are glad to answer any questions you may have all around our products.
Janine Harnik
Janine Harnik is Product Manager Pharma at IOI Oleo GmbH. With altogether more than 15 years of experience in Sales and Product Management in the areas of Phamaceuticals, Cosmetics and Nutrition, she has a comprehensive view of the business. She finds the wide variety of applications for our vegetable-based specialties particularly fascinating. Instruction leaflets, INCIs and ingredient lists are all read closely wherever the opportunity arises – after all, you never stop learning. In her leisure time, Janine has always been an enthusiastic volleyball player and when she is not on the volleyball court with her team, she enjoys spending time with her family.
