Caring for each other – At People & Culture, that’s not merely a motto, but a lived attitude
We want our employees to feel good – physically, mentally and emotionally. Although our sites are different, our goal is the same all over: to create opportunities, while integrating health and well-being into the everyday working environment.
Our offer is varied: be it yoga or breathing exercises in the morning for a relaxed and focused start to the day or an active break at lunchtime to recharge energy and regain concentration – physical activity always plays a central role. In addition, everyone has the opportunity to cycle to work on a “JobRad”. Hence, we provide options to promote both health and sustainable mobility – good for the body, soul and climate.
We are aware that daily working life can be challenging. That’s why we support our employees with targeted training on coping with stress, mindfulness, autogenic training and ergonomics, which help to maintain balance and promote resilience.
Prevention is particularly important to us. Our employees can take advantage of the precautionary health checks provided by our company doctors. Our monthly BGM newsletters include regular tips and ideas for a healthy life, and our Health Days offer screenings, lectures and advice for all employees. However, we also think beyond everyday work: we create security for the future with our company pension scheme.
At IOI Oleo, caring for each other is part of our corporate culture. It means being there for one another, remaining attentive and healthily growing together in a healthy way.

more than just a new name for HR
For some time now, the term “Human Resources” hasn’t felt quite right to us.
After all, many people associate it mainly with personnel management and administrative tasks. But we see our role as something much more holistic.
To us, people are not just resources with economic value – they are the very foundation of our success.
So, we used the momentum of a larger organisational adjustment at IOI Oleo and renamed our department:
