The premiere at Vitafoods Europe 2025 was a full success for us. Thanks to the pooled competences of our Pharma and Nutrition business units, we can now look back on three inspiring days full of innovations, international contacts and groundbreaking talks.
Our Focus? IMWITOR® 375 – Improved Bioavailability for Nutraceuticals
Normally, there is a strict distinguishment between food and pharma products. However, due to progress in research the boundary is increasingly merging. The term “nutraceuticals” illustrates that food can be more than mere energy sources.
With IMWITOR® 375, we placed a case study emphasis at our booth and in the New Ingredient Zone on the topic of improving bioavailability through encapsulation. IMWITOR® 375 is a safe and versatile solubiliser and impresses through efficiency, solubilisation power, penetration depth and bioavailability. It enables the encapsulation of hydrophilic, lipophilic and poorly soluble APIs and, moreover, offers clean labelling of nutraceuticals as it is free of PEGs, vegan and palm oil-free – green chemistry based on sunflower, sugar beet, sugar cane and rapeseed oils.
Besides this emphasis, our multifunctional ingredients and their use as dietically beneficial carrier oils, solubilisers, emulsifiers, taste masks, process aids or also as antifoams provided answers to central industry challenges.
Our conclusion!
Vitafoods Europe 2025 has shown: We are at the right place with our presence and our product portfolio for the nutraceutical market. We thank all our visitors and business partners for their interest, are eagerly awaiting the further exchange and already looking forward to next year’s fair.
Robert Radsziwill
Robert is the Business Development Manager for Functional Excipients in the Pharma Division of IOI Oleo GmbH. Prior to this role he held technical and commercial roles focusing raw materials used in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry for 13 years. In each position he leveraged his diploma degree in Business Chemistry earned at Westfälische Wilhelms-University to drive interdisciplinary projects and work as interface between commercial and technical decision makers. Understanding technical, commercial and regulatory drivers from ideation to successful project-completion is key for him. In his free time he enjoys guitar heavy music as well as cooking for and with family and friends.
