IOI Oleo GmbH is the German branch of IOI Oleochemical Division.

IOI Corporation Berhad (IOI) is a leading global integrated and sustainable palm oil player, listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. Employing more than 28,000 people in several countries, its palm oil business consists of upstream Plantation in both Malaysia and Indonesia and downstream Resource-Based Manufacturing business.

With hands-on management approach and excellent agronomic practices, IOI Group is ranked highly as one of the most efficient major plantation owners to produce one of the highest oil yields in the industry.

The Resource-Based Manufacturing business consists of three segments: Refining, Oleochemical and Specialty Oils and Fats. IOI Group owns two palm oil refineries in Malaysia and four Oleochemical manufacturing plants in Malaysia and Germany. The Specialty Oils and Fats manufacturing business is carried out by the 30%-owned associate company, Bunge Loders Croklaan (formerly known as IOI Loders Croklaan), which has manufacturing operations in Malaysia, the Netherlands, USA, Canada, Ghana and the People’s Republic of China. Its downstream products are exported to more than 80 countries worldwide.

IOI Oleochemicals Division

As integral part of the Resource-Based Manufacturing division of IOI Group, IOI Oleochemical undertakes its principal activities of manufacturing and sales of fatty acids, glycerine, soap noodles and specialty downstream oleochemical derivatives such as fatty esters and specialty derivatives. These versatile products are used in a wide range of applications from industrial sectors such as automotive, mining and plastic to food, nutrition, pharmaceutical and cosmetic.

The oleochemical products are exported to more than 80 countries worldwide, with main customers located in Japan, China, Europe and the Unites States.

IOI Oleochemical undertakes its manufacturing activities in four manufacturing sites. Two of the manufacturing sites are located in Peninsular Malaysia while the other two sites are located in Germany. The total combined production output is 780,000 MT per Annum.

IOI Oleochemicals’ manufacturing facilities are certified and accredited by globally recognized bodies.
